The images and all the information was supplied and we had to design the hierarchy to make the information easy to navigate.

My first proper project at Reading University was to design a book cover for a 70th anniversary pocket penguin. The book that I was allocated was of pageants and picnics a book written in the style of a journal with tips and recipes about picnics.

Theses are a few of my ideas (above). I experimented with picture fonts, pinhole photography and simply sourcing images from the web. My final design (below) is made by embossing leaf shaped beads using a lollypop stick.
