an invitation to the cinema

 Two tickets to see...
The second project from Reading University.
To design two flyers for Reading Film Theater.
The images and all the information was supplied and we had to design the hierarchy to make the information easy to navigate.

through the eye of a pin

   I love using pinhole cameras.
It seems like magic to me that they work.
These are some photos I took in my local woods potentially for the of pageants and picnics project.

getting into the christmas spirit

Merry Christmas
Procrastination leads to doing an illustration of a 'christmas lion'
 (drawn with a biro)

of pageants and picnics

My first proper project at Reading University was to design a book cover for a 70th anniversary pocket penguin. The book that I was allocated was of pageants and picnics a book written in the style of a journal with tips and recipes about picnics.

Theses are a few of my ideas (above). I experimented with picture fonts, pinhole photography and simply sourcing images from the web. My final design (below) is made by embossing leaf shaped beads using a lollypop stick.

A to Z

This is a typography project that I did based on Alzheimer's illustrating the decomposition of the brain. I made it by cutting out the letters from different grids then pasting them together and finally screenprinting it.

art in hypotrochoid

I couldn't decided what to post first but in the end thought that a good place to start is at the beginning. This is the first ever screenprint I created.
